Benjamin Schulman currently resides in Springfield, MO. He received his B.F.A. from The Pennsylvania State University in 1996 and his M.F.A. from Tyler School of Art in 1999.
Schulman has exhibited his work internationally in both group and solo exhibitions. These include solo exhibitions in Seoul, South Korea; New York, NY; and Wilmington, DE. He is also included in numerous group exhibitions every year.
He has been an Artist-in-Resident at The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena, MT and at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA. At the latter, he was the recipient of the Evelyn Shapiro Foundation Fellowship. He has had numerous other experiences in the field of ceramics, including one year as a Visiting Professor of Art at Kyung Hee University in South Korea.
